I-Pamper Massage www.jessonclinic.co.uk

The I-Pamper massage machine offers the benefits of a good massage any time you need it. I’ve had mine for a month now and the benefits can be felt.
While many of us spend time and money improving our performance by upgrading our bikes and training, the benefits of massage to help recover from training are often deemed too expensive and an ongoing cost. The I-Pamper enables you to take advantage of speeding up your recovery from training and reduce the risk of injuries developing. Read about it further at www.jessonclinic.co.uk/ipamper
The best time for a massage is immediately after training, where the massage helps to remove lactic acid from the muscles and flush them with fresh blood which repairs the tissue damage caused by training. It’s a bit like a recovery ride the day after, but without having to wait a day.

A recent example was after the cross-race myself and a team mate rode at Scorton on Sunday. The course was un-rideable for long stretches, meaning a lot of pushing or carrying of the bike. After 2 laps I could feel my Achilles tendon pulling at my left ankle, and my right calf muscle was quite sore by the finish. After the race I got cleaned up and loaded up the car. Before I set off home I gave my lower legs a five minute massage, powering the I-Pamper from the lighter socket in the car through a DC inverter. That evening another ten minutes massage, followed by five minutes before work Monday morning, and ten minutes Monday evening. On Tuesday I went to see my team mate and while his legs were still sore from the running, I felt totally recovered. I would normally expect to suffer to the middle of the week, not being used to running.

The I-Pamper is easy to use and helps keep you in great shape. It enables me to recover more quickly from racing and training by giving me more access to massage for recovery and help stop the formation of knotts and tightness in the muscles.
