Braveheart Ride

On Saturday Ben Greenwood joined ex professionals Sean Kelly and Brian Smith on the Braveheart Fund Raising Ride in Ayrshire. The Braveheart ride attracted a record number of over 400 cyclists.

Designed to cater for such a wide range of abilities, the organisers designed routes of 23 miles and 43 miles taking in some of Ayrshire’s toughest roads that are often used in local races.

The wet conditions that greeted riders on Saturday morning proved to be no more than a small incovenience as cyclists showed up in their droves to participate in an event which, over the past few years, has consistently raised thousands of pounds towards helping promising young Scottish cyclists reach their full potential.
